storyboard, internal structure, pace and edits

Storyboard

A storyboard is a basic plan and describes something scene by scene  many producers or directors will create these so they will have a basic plan and understand on what they will create they will then talk with there team/teams and discuss how they see there vision  on how the music should be or even how the story should go and it also allows people to create ideas onto the story board.

an example would be this as a storyboard.

the contribution to success would be that every post producer has done this and properly changed there ideas as they changed there mind on creating a effect and changing it and making it better also it is a success because you can make people also see your vision in a particular vision a lot more clearer.

Internal structure

internal stucture is what actually happens in the film such as an example would be a beginning middle and the end such as in the film "Frozen" the beginning would be when both sisters are playing and one sister accidentally hurts the other one the middle would be the sisters separate and the end would be when the sisters are back together.

the contribution to success is that every film needs one otherwise it is either boring or it is ever lasting this is why a lot of films are bringing film after film out because a lot more people are enjoying them such as the film hunger games now are making part one's and two's because there internal structure is to carry on and building up so there story board is begging and a really long middle and in the last ever one will be a middle and an end almost like a big cliff hanger.

Pace

pace means the speed of something meaning the to determine how fast or slow something is going.

an example would be in jaws when the pace of the sound of the the 2 notes are very slow you relies the shark is lurking and you can tell with the pace of the 2 notes speed up you know the shark is coming and because the pace pickup you know the shark is coming because you can relate with the shark as its coming.

the contribution on success of pace is mostly because it can relate to an audience as when something picks up tempo and pace you know that its a build up of something and that something is going to have a big effect on a situation.

Edit

Editing is when you are changing or making something better within a program or changing something such as making somebody look younger on a computer making your existing footage making it better within the sequence. an example would be a piece of audio normal audio such as a build up then you take that put it through a program like audacity then residing the piece of audio then putting some reverb on the piece of music making it a build down so that is an example of editing a piece of audio.

the contribution to success would be that the audience can relate to it and also have a better understanding of something such as in the new film captain america for the audience to understand that the actor Chris Evans who played captain america there is a scene where they edited it so they made him look like he was really small and had no muscle to make the audience believe that the transformation he went through made it more realistic even though it isn't a realistic film that a man can survive with just a shield.

animations,live footage,stills, logo and titles

animations

Animations are created a cartoons or "CGI" computer generated images. sometimes these created animations can interact with movies and even programs such saw an example would be scooby do which is a week in week out cartoon program but then you can also get award winning films such as walle which took them 18 months to make the film because the sound effects in the film had to be spot on and very effective but because it was award winning it shows that it is a contribution of success in the project walle.

Also with animation the sound effects are a lot more colourful  because the sounds can also be a lot more creative and almost in a way unrealistic such as the sound of teeth breaking it is a lot more different than when in animation the sound is shattered glass but sounds completely different in how in an unanimated film does it.

The contribution to success would be that it can relate with kids more often and get them more involved with the film it also makes the film different and more people get excited and can relate more to them because its colourful.

live footage

Live footage is when something is being recorded on air such as an example would be when a football rugby or any sporting event is being broadcasted. also the news is live to find out whats live it normally will say live on the side or will let you know on the actual device you watch it from wether that is your phone laptop or in most cases your tv.

the contribution to success would be that more people would rather find out watching something straight away than finding out another way such as example would be more people would rather watch a football game than watch match of the day which is a couple of hours later on but in that time you could of found out the score by something or somebody later.

Stills

Stills are really just a photo or something that won't move such as an example would be a photo explaining an emotion in a film so an example would be this

This shows a couple words was said between Steven Gerrard "(left) and Robin Van Persie (right).

The contribution to success would be that maybe people who cant hear very well can't guess between this photo that somebody has said something to make the other person not happy which evolves into making a better understanding between people who are trying to understand what has happened hear.

Logos and titles

Logos basically tell us what is in a film or what we can expect such as when everybody sees this logo normal people understand it is going to be a good film when you see this logo.

And a title is telling us what it actually is this is the example of the film star wars.

The contribution to success would be that when you see the logo you have more than a like as when you see the pixar lamp you believe its going to be an animated film such as toy story and that more or likely children will be able to relate to the film and also if they see a a friendly tittle like lilo and stitch people will think it sounds like a friendly and nice film but you can also judge of the films title on what genre of film it is such as the film "paranormal activity" which to me screams horror or scary film or for homebody doesn't like ghost would not like this.
